    The IRDAI Recruitment 2024 Selection Process includes the following stages-

    On-line Preliminary Examination

    This is a qualifying exam to be eligible for Phase – II, Descriptive Examination. Marks secured in Phase – I On-line Preliminary Exam will not count for interview or final selection. The exam pattern is as follows:

    • The exam is of 160 marks in total.
    • There will be 160 questions.
    • Each question will carry 1 mark.
    • There will be a negative marking of ¼ marks for every wrong answer

    Descriptive Examination

    The descriptive exam will be held in 3 parts, Paper-I,II & III. Candidates are required to appear for all three papers in Phase-II Descriptive Examination in one session. The pattern will be as follows:

    • The exam will be descriptive in nature.
    • The exam will be divided into 3 papers, each of 100 marks.
    • Candidates will get 1 hour for each exam, i.e., 3 hours for the entire exam.
