Training
(a) Selected candidates will be detailed for training at Officers Training Academy, according to their position in the final order of merit (engineering stream-wise) upto the number of available vacancies and subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.
(b) Duration of Training- 49 weeks
Selection Procedure.
The selection procedure is as follows:-
Getting shortlisted – Application review by the Army. – Minimum score (cut-off) set for each engineering discipline based on semester performance. – Shortlisting for the next step if the cut-off is reached.
Choosing interview date – Receive an email with assigned Selection Centre location (Allahabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Kapurthala). – Choose interview date online based on availability. – Slots fill up quickly.
Interview process – Only shortlisted candidates go through a two-stage interview process. – Pass Stage 1 to proceed to Stage 2; fail Stage 1 results in immediate dismissal. – 5-day interview involving tests by psychologists, group activities, and individual interviews.
Medical examination and joining – If recommended by the interview board and pass the medical test, considered selected. – Offered a training position based on rank and available vacancies.

How To Apply
Step 1: Interested Aspirants can apply online on the official website “www.joinindianarmy.nic.in“.
Step 2: Click on ‘Officer Entry Apply/Login’ and go to the ‘Registration’ (no need to Register again, if already registered on (www.joinindianarmy.nic.in).
Step 3: You should read the instructions carefully before filling the regeneration form.
Step 4: Once you register, click on ‘Apply Online’ under Dashboard, it opens a page name ‘Officers Selection’ – ‘Eligibility’ will open, click ‘Apply’ against Short Service Commission SSC(Tech)(Men and Women) Course, ‘Application Form’ will get open.
Step 5: Read all the instructions carefully and click on ‘Continue’ and fill all the details under various segments like Personal information, Communication details
Step 6: Then ‘Save & Continue’ before going to the next segment.
Step 7: Once you fill all the details on the last segment, you will move to a page ‘Summary of your information’ where you can check and edit the entries made. After checking all your details, click on ‘Submit Now‘.
Step 8: Make sure you click on ‘Submit Now’ each time it opens the application for editing any details.
