Selection Process
The selection of candidates for the post of Haryana HPSC PGT will be based on the following stages:
Screening Test
The Screening Test, where applicable, is designed to be a qualifying exam with a total of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question carries equal marks, and the exam is conducted over a duration of 2 hours. The subject-wise syllabus is enclosed in the notification, providing candidates with the necessary topics to study. The total marks for this test are 100, making it a crucial first step in the selection process.
Subject Knowledge Test
The Subject Knowledge Test carries a significant weightage of 87.5% in the selection process, emphasizing its importance. The exam lasts for 3 hours and comprises a total of 150 marks. The subject-wise syllabus, detailed in the enclosed notification, ensures candidates are well-prepared.
Interview/Viva
The Interview/Viva carries a weightage of 12.5% in the overall selection process, making it a essential component for final assessment. Skill Test
