HP Police Constable Selection Process 2024
The selection of candidates for the HP Police Constable Recruitment will be based on the following stages:
Physical Test

Written Test:
The written test is the second stage of the HP Police Constable selection process. Those who qualify the Physical Test are shortlisted for this stage. The written exam carries a weightage of 90 marks. It evaluates the candidate’s knowledge in various subjects, including general awareness, reasoning, and basic numerical skills. This test ensures that candidates have the intellectual capability and critical thinking skills necessary for effective policing.
Document Verification
At this stage, the candidates’ submitted documents are thoroughly checked for authenticity and accuracy. This includes verifying educational qualifications, identity proofs, and other required certificates such as NCC achievements. This stage is only for those who clear the Physical Test and Written Exam.
Medical Examination
This is the final stage of selection. Candidates who clear all the previous stages are shortlisted for medical examination. At this stage, the physical and mental health of the candidate is assessed to ensure her/his fitness for appointment to this post.
