Selection Process
The selection process is rigorous and includes several stages:
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Involves a 1.6 km run, push-ups, sit-ups, and squats within stipulated times.
- Written Test: Candidates who clear the PFT will take an objective-type test focusing on English, Reasoning, & General Awareness.
- Adaptability Test-II: This tests the candidates’ ability to adapt to the military lifestyle of the Air Force.
- Medical Examination: Conducted by the Air Force Medical Team to stringent standards to ensure candidates are fit for service. Candidates must meet high medical standards, including minimum height, chest measurements, and specific vision requirements. They should not have undergone LASIK surgery or have tattoos that might be deemed inappropriate.
